Christian Studies Hub Sessions: Senior School
As teachers in Anglican schools we have the amazing opportunity to challenge students on issues such as truth, purpose, justice, faith and meaning. By helping students to realize their own set of values we are then able, as Christian Studies teachers, to encourage a well developed Biblical perspective.
As many secondary students are already dealing with the "big" questions like "who am I?" and "where do I belong?", teaching Christian Studies creates a safe environment for exploring and discovery a Biblical response to such questions. I am able to support and assist in areas such as:
- "Teaching Christianly" - what does that mean?
- Developing a Christian worldview
- Christian Studies and faith development
- What makes a school distinctively Christian?
- Curriculum review and development
If you are interested in speaking further about the opportunities the Anglican Education Commission can offer your school, or you have any queries about the support that is available, please do not hesitate to contact Jennifer Spies. Alternatively, view her flyer.
