Christian Teachers Interface
Teaching is a most important profession for Christians to enter. It is also most demanding physically, emotionally and spiritually, especially in the first years of teaching. Support and mentoring are important to help with the many (and increasing) demands on a teacher’s time: school and system requirements, increasing accountability, preparing lessons, marking, paper-work, supervision of students, extra-curricula involvement... let alone opportunities and time for ministry! How, in all these demands, can we be ambassadors of Christ in our schools?
The AEC has set up an online support network: Teacherlink. It is designed for all teachers, across all ages and systems, for those at uni as well as those with many years of teaching experience. It is a means of sharing ideas, resources and raising questions - a tool by which we can support each other in the important vocation of teaching. Don't wait! Log on, register now and join Teacherlink!
