The Integral Project
This is a new and potentially exciting project commencing in 2009.
The Concise Oxford Dictionary defines ‘integral’ as being necessary in order to achieve wholeness or completeness. From a Christian point of view, education is not complete unless it holds together in Christ. (Colossians 1.17-18)
The Integral Project is about doing education Christianly. It is about exploring how to translate a biblical view of the world into every aspect of a school’s life. It is relatively easy to talk about this; much harder to practise it in a coherent, intelligent and God-honouring way. The Integral Project will bring together principals, co-ordinators and teachers with writers and practitioners from around the world. It will operate through workshops, after-school seminars and in-school consultancy and mentoring by fellow practitioners. For more information, see the Integral Project flyer.
